The Altissa-Box Nr. 200 is a box camera produced beginning in 1936 by Eho-Altissa in Dresden, Germany. The Altissa-Box Nr. 200 is recognizable by its top-mounted tube eyepiece finder and the sunburst design pattern on the camera face. Earlier models of the Altissa-Box Nr. 200 had a more simplified sunburst, with later models having more lines radiating out from the lens. The camera is generally found with a Rodenstock Periscop Altissar f8 lens. There is both a Model A and Model B version, with the former making 6x6cm images and the latter 6x4.5cm images on 120 roll film.
This is a Model A Altissa-Box Nr. 200 and makes 6x6cm images on 120 format roll film.
